Walked through the 4 birds area, you will see "Bornean Orangutan" which shares about 97% of their DNA with human. That smart primate gave me a impression that I probably shouldn't consider him as just an animal. We were not the one who watch them, they were the one who watch us.

The orangutans is the most largest truly arboreal animal alive today. And they normally don't have any group to live. The strong male has "flange" on its face, unflanged male is considered as subadult. It grows suddenly when unflanged male defeated other flanged male, or when flanged male disappeared in many cases.

This Bornean Orangutan is a species of orangutan native to the island of Borneo just like it name tells. They used to be considered same as Sumatran Orangutans. They were elevated to species following sequencing of their mitochondrial DNA. The wild orangutans have decreased their populations by deforestation, palm oil plantation and hunting, and it listed them as "Endangered" species.
