They are very beautiful clouded pattern leopards which gives me a dignified impression. They are considered as between cat kind and leopard kind.
Since they have longer canine tooth body size to ratio, there are opinions of being considered as descendant of saber tigers.
Their population has been decreasing by being hunted for those beautiful furs, tooth, traditional chinese medicines, and being a human's pet, just like the most animals. And now they are classified as Vulnerable in 2008 by IUCN.
They are smaller tigers compared with Sumatran tiger I have already posted, they are really good at being on trees. I love that attitude which gives me an impression they say "show some respect!".
